Utah attorneys must earn 24 MCLE Credits
per reporting cycle (two year
compliance periods, beginning July 1 and ending June 30), including
three (3) hours of accredited Ethics or Professional
Responsibility. At least one (1) of the three (3)
hours of Ethics or Professional Responsibility must be in the area
of Professionalism and Civility.
Utah allows you to earn ONE-HALF (12)
MCLE Credits including
Ethics, Professionalism and Civility, and General Credits, through
participation in approved Self-Study courses.
Each of these National Law Foundation Audio Flash Drive/CD/DVD programs is
approved for Utah MCLE credit.
Each course includes a Participant Critique
form for you to complete and return to the
National Law Foundation for verification of your participation in
these courses. The Critique includes several opinion questions
plus an area in which to record code(s) embedded in the audio
portion of each speaker's presentation.
After verifying your participation, National Law Foundation
will report your credits to the Utah State Board of Continuing
Legal Education and will confirm that report to you. Utah MCLE
reports are submitted in the first week of each month for
participants in the previous month.
